updated 12/10/2011 SEATTLE - A man in his early 20s drove a vehicle into a crowd of people at bar closing time early this morning in the Fremont neighborhood, seriously injuring five people. The incident happened just outside of Nectars Lounge around closing time. The five people hit were standing in the street when the Subaru plowed into them. Witnesses say the car was going so fast the victims were thrown up and over the car. "I just know that the firefighters described that all four patients that were still on the ground when they arrived were all sort of laying on the road in between two lanes in the middle of the street both north and south lanes,” said Sue Stengl, Seattle Fire Dept. The driver has been booked into King County Jail for vehicular assault. Investigators say it appears that alcohol may have been a contributing factor. Five pedestrians - four men and a woman - were taken to Harborview Medical Center. One of the men is in critical condition. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- just so folks don't think all the nutso(s) hang out in virginia.

choosing to get stupid drunk and plowing your truck into a bar at closing time when you pass out...it's stupid and expected=not crazy...
shooting yerself and a cop....very stupid and very unexpected=crazy...
