making the switch: e-cigs
anyone else made the switch over to these great innovations? I got a tornado 510 from wicked about a month and a half ago and haven't looked back. I was a pack a day smoker up until then. In that time I've bought maybe 4 packs of actual cigarettes and regretted it every time. Seriously if any of you are thinking about it I would advise you to go ahead and make the leap. For maybe the first 2 weeks I still occasionally craved a real cig, but a few days ago I bought a pack cuz I was low on fluid and 1. it tasted nasty 2. over the 24 I had the pack I coughed up so much gross shit 3. they're wicked harsh and gross. 4.the cost isn't even close to the cost of a day's worth of e-fluid.
so if you're not ready to quit, at least think about making the switch. it's painless, healthier and cheaper and you'll quickly agree tastier! anyway fuck camel for stealing all my dollars for so long. |

Good for you, man. My mother died of lung cancer, and as a witness to her day by day deterioration, I can vouch for avoiding that shit.

my parents never smoked so I never had that natural aversion. I'll say though I've basically gotten all the benefits from switching that people talk about from quitting. my sense of smell is much better, so is my taste, I cough much less and I probably actually smell better in terms of scent.
I dunno why it took me so long to switch. e-cig fluid is tastey. |

you can definitely put synthetic cannabinoids in the propylene glycol versions, maybe the peg400, not sure.
get about 1-2 mg per puff, so something in the am series, or low tolerance, would be required. nice jorb, kitchy. I smoked on my buddies e-cig several times before and it was always a pleasant experience. don't know how someone could smoke regular tobac afterwards, but my friends certainly seem to find a way. just trying to get my sister to start since she moved in-whole house stinks-but she says they "hit too hard." i tried lecturing her on the suitability of a less potent fluid, and buying a better than gas-station e-cig, but she's stubborn. |

you need one of the really strong ones apparently. my friend has a 6 volt (the battery is the size of a small maglight) and some honey oil. he's just waiting on some glycol to see if it'll work. the gas station ones are retarded. there are some disposable ones that are like $10 but only last a day or so. then there's really crappy ones the store buys for 20 and sells for 50. I paid 60 for mine and it's on the higher end of the market. tell her to go to wicked, they always have really good specials.

I got a disposable e-gar today in the mail only cost £13 for about 50 cigs worth of fluid. thought it was the best choice to help me decide on getting a more expensive reusable model, it's pretty cool but not as good as the titan 510 i tried off someone from work. plus i feel a bit daft in public smokin a cigar.
I definatly feel these are going to become alot more popular in years to come especially with all the smoking bans in public places etc. there is even e-cigarette smoking bars opening up. the taste to me compared more to shisha than actual cigarette smoke. im probs gonna get the titan 510 starter kit after xmas when i have some more cash.

I was planning on using an e-cig to help quit.
Bought a super cheap one from china just to try it out. Ended up quitting cigs in the meantime while waiting for the e-cig to be delivered lol. plus it is cheap as fuck and tastes like ass. Was looking into healthier/possibly even beneficial alternatives to the solvents used in the e-cig fluid but got distracted with school. The problem i ran into was finding a healthier solvent with a high vapor-pressure. While e-cigs are MUCH safer than cigs, they arent totally safe as advertised. Justsayin. On top of that e-cig fluid is produced in mass(impurities present), nicotine levels almost ALWAYS vary apparently, and there is VERY little research done on it yet. but DEFINITELY a safer alternative to smoking cigs. Id recommend using it as something to taper you off rather than a permanent solution.

clive I have the tornado which is the ego variant of the 510 from the same company. It's kinda bulky (small blunt size) but the battery lasts all day.
