The thing with GMO crops- they seem to always be utilised as monoculture. This is stupid and will likely backfire badly ultimately.

i dont think the population problems are unsolvable. we manage to feed 300 million americans, and virutally none of them are growing their own food and raising their own livestock. i think that would be the first thing that would change if things ever really got bad.

its probably going to be a painful transition, but eventually something will change.
