my parents actually used to celebrate my birthday with me on my HALF birthday, june 21 to avoid this and since everyone is so busy around this time of year anyway. Now I actually kind of enjoy it since I can ask for larger shit I need for the whole year, I'm born on the solar New year, and my next year bday will be the end of the world. so over all it's plenty special on it's own merit.
