dolphin wii emulator
so i remember ego tripping made a thread about this awhile back.
but i couldnt find it, so i got a sweet new computer, with a 1gb graphics card discrete motherfucking DISCRETE 1 GB!!! been waiting for a computer with one of these bad boys in it for like 8 fucking years now... so anyway, its just off the hook fucking amazing... games that would chug and stop chug and stop just run like butter- minecraft just totally destroys on the best settings with the farthest draw distance- my gta IV works like a dream and it wouldnt even start on my nice i5 core laptop that didnt have a discrete graphics card.... so ive been loving it. but probably the coolest part is the dolphin emulator... a while back i downloaded a bunch of wii images - was thinking about possibly modding my wii or something... and i also had a bluetooth connecter thing from a while back... so i download the dolphin emulator (which is a free open source wii emulator for pc if u dont know) . and in about 10 seconds was able to set the whole thing up- connect my wiimote to the computer perfectly, and load up brand new wii games that have come out as recently as a few months ago- the computer plays them so well, with no lag, and u can even triple or quadruple the resolution from native wii- so in other words you play wii games on better settings with better quality than u can on the wii itself- Its truly the coolest experience ever to be playing super mario galaxy or whatever game on 4x native wii resolution settings with ultra anti aliased graphics.... the graphics look so much better than on the wii- and the wiimote works perfectly... i sincerely cant believe its possible and how awesome it is- so thats my story...anybody else done this ? if not and u have a good computer with at least 1gb discrete graphics- WHAT ARE U WAITING FOR!?! |

I decided to pay off my Visa debt instead of getting the boxing day sale computer tower with a 1gb vcard and 6gb ram and a recent processor... for only $500...
figured next year I'd be able to get something even better for the same price. I'm gonna try out dolphin some time in 2012 I'm sure though, I wanna play some of the new donkey kong country and the super mario games. (ps, lol at using minecraft as a benchmark)

I don't know if ForzaMotorsport 4 is on the the pc, if it is, then get, its ultra-realistic.
Also Dirt 3 is pretty badass if you are into rally racing games. |

Have you considered cleaning up your i5 comp and see what's slowing it down?
Though yea, Intel integrated Graphics are pretty terrible, no matter what processor you have.
