I'm referring to the practice of altering spelling and adding conjunctions (or whatever the fuck) in written words to represent the way they sound when people speak them.

ie: 'ow's it goin' pardner? OR g'day mate

Literary dialect is more the narrative form of emphasising a negative connotation as to how words are pronounced. Osirus asked if the term is native to his area, which it is as it's a locally native dialect, pronounced, spelled and accepted as such in that particular region.
