Ok let's see here. I've seen a couple of posts both on reddit and facebook. In these, people get the answer to a seemingly simple mathematical question wrong. This is mainly due to a correct understanding of a mathematic concept, but failure in application of it. That is that anything multiplied zero, equals zero. I don't wan't to reveal a whole lot more, since that would be giving away the answer.

So with that in mind, try and post the answer to this really simple question:

40/20+40+40*0=?

If you'd like you can post your results, but I'd ask you to not post how you got there just yet. I wanna see if people get different results. I honestly hope everyone gets it right. That would mean we aren't morons.

Maybe we'll do more mathematical questions afterwards.

We'll cross that bridge when we get there.

My kids started Algebra in grade three. ^2 means squared just in case you're not familiar with the signage
