So HP is permabanned now?

First off I'm not making this thread to start shit. I and some others had thought it was a week ban, but it seems he was permabanned after being let back for all of half a day?

Can the mod who decided this explain? Was not the point of him being banned for a week to give him the chance to straighten up and not be a racist stalker asshole with a Swastika av?

Look I understand why he got the seven day ban but I thought the point of a short term ban meant the banee would get one more chance to prove he isn't a complete troll. HP only got one chance and he fucked it up I'll admit that, but why fuck with the guy by saying he can be back in a week only to retroactively decide he's actually banned for life?

Can anyone explain this to me?

Thoughts? Agree with perma or no?

Wasn't me.

However, a perma ban can be placed on someone who is banned yet repeatedly comes back as alts (which also get banned).

Therefore (and I'm not saying this is the reason) as the "bad behavior" escalates, so does the length of banning.

This is based on my supposition that a perma ban is also an individual ip block.

Which could be surcumvented by using random proxeys and spoofing ip(s) thru them.

...my best guess.

Nazi shit is the weakest, most cliched ban offense. I mean, if you're going to get permabanned, it should be for something worthy. Highly offensive, yet creative. For example, the guy who photoshopped ASG's face on poo. I forget who it was, but that's what I'm talking about. You gotta make your mark when getting permabanned, or what's the point?

He could have been funnier, but he was offensive. He should not have been banned for even 1 day.

Some unfunny members that should be perma-banned include: Adventure, Roach, Eldizle, HTAM, MyScatterheart. Sage should be de-modded and given a 6 month ban for his phaggotry in banning/censorship.
