I wouldn't think that advanced civilizations would even bother with races that were still at a phase of their development where self-annihilation was still in the cards. They might study us, to learn more about why some civilizations destroy themselves, while others don't, but there's really not much that we could share with them.

Humanity is pretty deluded. We have a lot of shit to figure out if we are to survive as a species. I mean, what would you think if you came across a species that thought it was a good idea to drop nukes on themselves?
