So by being an antagonizing asshole you are able to confront your demons more effectively? Glad to be of help.

I guess I'd say for myself that I've done well in moving beyond this, 'it is time' mentality for the most part.

I smoke a puff after dinner, which helps my stomach as I do have actual needs for help in that area, and in that case it's what I'd say medicinal actually applies, so yea.. I smoke then 'whether I need it or not' just in case, but it's not for the stone.

I can't lie though. I still smoke 'just cause' from time to time, if I'm just hanging out for the evening or whatever. But that 'just cause' to me, feels like a choice or intentional act and not a mindless packing and smoking.

Let me rephrase what I meant to say earlier, absolutely no amount of pot smoking is good for someone, and it's one of the worst drugs there is.

Addiction potential and physical harm are taken into my equation, and I don't need to keep reminding people that I'm not hysterical or naive. It's addictive and poses little threat physically, but is the most harmful drug to the mind.
Just because you have problems with herb doesn't mean we all do man.

Sorry you had to 'rephrase' because I caught you in a moment of leniency, be real dude.

The definition of addictive pretty much means to be alive and liking something so you do it again, makes everyone an addict, as defined the DSM IV.

Do you drink alcohol Dhom?

Mafoo, my life could have been different. I am one of those people where the symptoms aren't bad enough to be debilitating unless there is a stressor or something to aggravate it. I'm just trying to get back on track.

I think I add a lot of philosophical insight to this board.
Philosophical I'm not sure, but I DO appreciate your additions from time to time, however, you're often quite the zealot my friend and I don't think most of us get what you're 'working out' here.

You obviously aren't cut out to smoke, you recognize this... so just stop.
If it's an addiction for you... go to NA meetings.

Glad you're happier not smoking, but I'm not sure we're the audience to 'work it out' with.

Actually I was being sarcastic. My experience with cigs was that of an accute addiction. I couldn't just smoke when I wanted to, I smoked when my habit decided it was time to smoke.

Sage, I don't drink. I'm totally sober except for nicotine, which does technically preclude me from the definition of raw sobriety. Why go to NA when I can just come here? Fuck all 12 step meetings. They are a revolving door. Someday I may want to get down with some 3+ year sober hardcore quitters, but as of now you guys are drinking and drugging less than the average AA member...

Ric, see above. This is technically a 12 step meeting for me. I don't come here for "entertainment".

Come on guys, the board is damn near flatline. I'm only adding postcount to what could possibly be a dead board in a few months.

Why? Because I'm working on my issues, and therefore care little about how I'm perceived?

^I don't think I have that disorder. I really am better than most people.

Sometimes I think we're moving along as a species.

Then I realize things such as myself being among the only people here that know dhomnley is one of the best trolls we've ever had and knows exactly how to push certain people's buttons, and it dawns on me that we've learned hardly a thing.

I´ve bought through mail order a thousand times, never lost a shipment, best stuff from the netherlands but VERY expensive.

it is better if shipped from abroad, customs wont make an international scandal for a half O of weed.

now that I have a little garden I wont have to worry, it´s looking good and I may harvest a bit more than I need

In my mind a troll is someone who tries to fuck with people and get under their skin. dhomnley does this very effectively.

What you're describing is more a of a clever clown.

To me.
You guys need someone to ruffle your feathers. I hang out with yahookans because we are smarter than most people. But I've witnessed some of the most glaring examples of slack jawed phaggotry.

I really do believe all members fit at least 2 criteria
-supported by parents
-supported by government (disability, welfare, section8)
-lengthy criminal record
-violent sociopath
-addiction to alcohol/hard drugs
-lack of any real hobbies or goals in life
-unemployed
