i gotta say though when i think about it more..her struggles with drug abuse did help me personally when i was going through my own. It was just knowing that even people who are crazy talented and successful can still be unhappy and susceptible to becoming a full blown addict.

anybody can be a addict is what i learned from her and for that i gotta say "thank you whitney". The other side of that coin is never to sell your self short and say u cant recover from it as well. I know how hard it is and that awful feeling of thinking with all your heart that its impossible but the first step in the battle is giving yourself permission to quit.

Stars of the past were more heavily into drugs. It seems the stars today are more exposed and need to have a squeakier clean image due to the internet and all. Every time they fumble, it's on one of those gossip sites. Houston was old school.

In our celebrity obsessed culture, the more anti-drug they have to be, the better. A lot of kids look up to these people, so we are moving in the right direction.
