Self-Immolation
In just this past year alone, 32 Tibetans have lit themselves on fire to protest the chinese occupation of tibet, as well as the forced exile of their spiritual leader the dalai lama. THIRTY FUCKING TWO... this year
![]() Now apparently many tibetan's faith in their non-violent approach to the occupation is waning. After 50+ years from when the dalai lama went into exile, nothing much has changed. Apparently the chinese governement has cracked down even in the past few years after many "free tibet" protests happened all over the world during the beijing olympics. Hundreds of monks and tibetans have been arrested this past year alone, many simply because they would not denounce the dalai lama. Also, since it is china, EXTREMELY little news and footage comes out about this, as well as no foreign media being aloud in of course.... Graphic vids Here's the video of the famous self-immolation in Saigon in 1963. Fucking unreal Self-Immolation of a buddhist monk - Desi Video Network a tibetan nun in this past year ![]() people are losing hope

The Chinese occupation is not as black and white as some my suggest.
Tibet has been a feudal society under the Buddhists for a long time- the Maoists would not have found any sympathy if the society had been egalitarian in the first place. Not that I'm saying the Chinese are in the right, just saying there are two sides to this story. The Dalai Lama is probably the most proficient of all current religious leaders in using modern media to get his point across. Just saying.

.Idols- well they have images and statues. Not necessarily the same thing. Spells- no, you are incorrect. Buddhism is not based on a belief in magic, far from it.

You aren't adventure, you should know I was derisively (here's a definition of that word, just in case you are adventure) referring to the religious practice of having special things you have to say to get in to the club. |

Some people did this when George W Bush got reelected.
Also, the first thought that came to my mind was," Why is this 35 year old oriental woman starting herself on fire when she could be bobbing on the tip of my stiff prick?"

fuck this fuck that, there you go again deadhead. No I don't need a dictionary to understand the meaning of the word derisive and if I did there are plenty online. And if you think the word ohm is needed to get into a club then you are missing the point.

Tomatoes .. um.. tomatoes. I think a lot of the stuff 'grown men' do is weird, including play with little handheld devices that communicate with their own type of sky fairy.
