Went to the recycling center and was given for free a front and back bed frame with no supporting middle pieces. Also got a bunch of used BBQ grills for free. Paid 10$ for two metal 45gal drums and 50 cents for 4 hinges.
Cut the drums in half lengthways and put 2 hinges on each half to make them come apart like a clam shell. Bolted one bedframe to the backs of the drums and the other bedframe to the front. Dropped the BBQ grills inside and now I have a nearly 8 foot long BBQ about 3 feet high. We had so much chicken and ribs on it that we were flipping meat with a shovel. ![]()

It's currently at my buddies. He used it for an outdoor New Years party. It gets borrowed a lot.
RedNekx Recycling...gotta love it. ![]() 7 sheets of 3/4 salvaged plywood., 8 boards 2x4., 5 lbs of 2-1/2" screws, 2 gallons of decking paint or better yet Marine paint.,1- 45 gallon burning barrel, 1 small circulating pond pump. 1 -10 foot coil of 3/8 copper tubing. Add firewood and Fatties and a screw gun and you get an 8 foot x 8 foot hot tub (64 sq. ft.), 4 feet high, and circulating hot water through the copper tubing which is dropped into the burning barrel after the fire is hot. Do not put the attached pump hoses(IN/OUT) into the fire or they will melt ![]() You have 4-8 foot long benches to stretch out on and if you don't put a hose of cold water in occasionally, it will get so hot you can make human stew. ![]() Done correctly you will also be able to make hot dogs and smokies over the wood burning barrel which is heating your water while in the hot tub. It sits 12 comfortably. ![]()

Just ordered this yesterday:
EIZO FlexScan S2133-BK - LED monitor - 21.3" | Staples® I HATE widescreen monitors, my old microtek lcd 19" died after 8 years or so, & this is the only 4/3 monitor available new. Yes its very pricey, but I paid $750.00 for the microtek long ago, so its not really out of line, , ,(also, screen image of other monitors just never compaired to the microtek) -c-

I usually throw a couple hundred clams on the grill and wait for the heat to cause them to open. Each clam gets a spoonful of garlic butter/grand marnier and fresh ground basil. A couple of hundred prawns painted with the same stuff and you have a feast fit for Mt. Olympus. Of course this is meant as an appetizer before the Meat hits the grill. ![]() During our summer Fondue/BBQ my buddy put out mason jars full of Kush doobies on every table so guests could light up as the mood and the munchies hit them. Unfortunately we got a tiny bit carried away and the big red bus full of fire dudes showed up and told us to put out the bonfire we were enjoying. Quote "That's too big of a fire. It is generating a lot of smoke and the City of Vancouver is having trouble breathing"...Put it out. ![]()

Actually, I do have a rotary phone, I kept it for sentimental reasons. I dont use it tho, its in a box somewhere. But no VHS.
I was looking through reciepts & found the old monitor receipt & realized I bought it almost 12 years ago. ($750.00, a lot of $$ back then) To be as 'tall ' as a 19" 4-3 mon. a wide sc. would have to be a 24" $model$ I'm not a luddite, man. I just do not like wide screen monitors. I even have a cell phone & a big ws TV, a Dune 303d, WDlive (<-junk), etc. I even have a microwave oven, man!!! Cut me some slack, I will be 68 in a week, & pretty much set in my ways. -c-
