Nootropics
Wondering if anyone here uses them? If so what do you take? How has it been so far?

I'm considering buying some adrafinil (pro-drug to modafinil) for when finals roll around again. Supposed to work wonders with focus and motivation without the shitty jitters of amphetamines.

Modanifil and Piracetam are the ones I've been most interested in.

Modafinil is precription only in the US, adrafinil (which turns into moda in your body) is in that super sketchy grey research chemical area.

a lot of the pre-workouts I use contain nootropics.. no fkin clue if they are under dosed or dosed correctly though.
focus does seem to be above average with the few I've tried.

Phenibut. It's more of a CNS depressant and I use it as an alcohol subtitute for socializing since it's a GABA derivative, but it also acts on some dopamine receptors and combined with caffeine gives me clarity and sharpness more than anything I've ever tried before.
Also the best anxiolytic if dosed properly, even beats Xanax imho because of no drowsiness associated. Avoid mixing with boose tho and allow couple of days off between usage, tolerance builds up rather quickly... |

In the first Back to the Future when Marty is late for school and Jennifer warns him that Mr. Strickland is looking for him, you can see "SMEGMA" written in big graffiti on the building facade and it makes me think of you, JWayne.

Ate a ton of pairacetam in high school, saw lots of people use it to cut rc's (mainly 4mmc).
Don't Recall how it was on its own but it did give a more calm head space when it was mixed with stimulants

I really disliked this stuff, although it does keep you awake. It made me incredibly warm and sweaty for about 6 hours and I felt pretty jittery the entire time, even with lower doses. The focus was definitely there, but for me personally it was not worth the side effects. Maybe you will react differently. It sure is cheap enough to find out.
