Comfy feelz thread

Post comfy feelz as they come to you.

I'll never forget being in NY hitting the steamroller and looking out the window as snow falls. Big fat lake effect snow flakes.

Fucking lol at that gif. That is great.

I have similar good nostalgia feels geeno. Snowed in. Smoking weed. Nice fire going in our small wood fireplace.

I also got some good comfy nostalgia feels about being at the beach as a kid with my family. Island beach state park. For a years my dad even had a truck with 4x4 we could go out on the beach with.

That reminds me of camping with my family as a kid, and with my dad as a teen. The woods, the beach, the august air, the simplicity of nature and unplugging.

Or canoe trips and hike in camping with my buddies as an adult. Though those seem less pure because of the drinking. But canoeing up to a moose in the drizzling rain and waiting for it to get out of the way, or standing naked with my buddies in a lake yelling penis as loud as we can with no one around to hear in the middle of Algonquin, are pretty rad too.

Hopefully politics doesn't ruin the comfiness of this thread so far, but this is pretty damn comfy and gives some good feels.

Being at the cottage on the weekend.
I was sitting at the table on the beach drawing at sunset.. No cares in the world.
Watching my son.
I captured the moment.

Sitting in the work truck, 5am... sipping coffee, feeling the cool morning and,
looking at the very first rays of sun starting to emerge,
as the peeper frogs end their call... the morning done quiets,
and a chorus of other birds begin to emerge.

Landscaping life.

I have this robe. I call it silver, you might call it gray. It is the softest thing. Feels great on the skin. I have it on right now. I love it.

The smell of the mountains in summer. The pines, the dust in the air. Fucking magic.

The few days a year where we are on the precipice of the end of summer and the beginning of fall when the leaves are starting to color, but the grass is still sun baked. When mornings are clear yet crisp, you can almost taste the winter on the air but is still a fortnight away. Everything slows down a bit, yet those wise souls who know that these days a few and far between are out making the most of them while the magic is in the air. Some mornings are cool enough to see your breath yet by the tug of the afternoon sun it feels as nice as any spring afternoon. Bodies are a dull tired from the long summer, yet are awakened with the thought of winter's rest, providing the spark in which days are spent in a peaceful hum and the nights are still long enough for stories shared over a bottle of brew around a now suddenly needed fire. Summer friends return home to turn the once nearly overwhelming symphony of voices to a gentle buzz of those stragglers trying to squeeze those last ounces of summer out of the day.

That first spring day when you don't have to work. The green is coming back, the sky is blue. Humidity is low and it's now warm enough to be comfortable in whatever you feel like wearing. You can enjoy the outside again as freely as you wish.
