pillow

So i got one of those memory foam pillows, it has gel in it to keep it cool and its shaped all nice to support your neck and cradle your head. when i first lie down with it i thought "aww yeah!" but then the next morning i wasnt so sure. "ridiculous waste of $40 " i thought. but after a week or so i am used to it and really liking it.

whats your pillow situation like?

I make up for my lack of pillow technology with quantity.

I have between 4-5 pillows in my bedroom at all times to handle whatever pillow requirements I might have at any given time.

It cost me nothing. I have no idea anymore where I got my pillows but I am pretty damn sure I've never spent money on a pillow.

I use two near-flat pretty old pillows. I usually sleep with one of them on top of my head.

I need new pillows. I want a nice flat pillow that stays cool.

I prefer my pillows alkaline, organic, and cage-free.

real question though - How often do you replace your pillows?

Washing your sheets can be done on a daily/weekly basis. But you can't really wash a pillow.

Apparently they should be replaced every 2 years or so...

After 2 years they're almost broken in.

You can wash some pillows. Down, obviously not. Not sure about memory foam. Synthetic fill pillows, however, can go right in the washer/dryer.

I usually buy cheap pillows and stuff two in one case.

Although I did buy myself some good ones a bit ago.. They are feathered and I love some fuckin feathered pillows.

Although sometimes when I lay my head down to rest on it.. I can hear my head settling in the pillow.. And I can keep hearing my head settle forever and ever.. My hair or something.. Sinking into the material. It's a never ending sound, sort of like a huge audience clapping but it's not. If I don't focus on that.. I enjoy the feathered 's pillow. Unless I get jabbed with a feather.

I use the same kind veda, memory foam with the gel lining. Think I got it at costco.

It was kinda pricey (like $20-30 if my memory serves me), but definitely worth it. I've notice a marked increase in my sleep quality since I got it.
