My biggest Xmas gift was my dad inviting me to move back in with him and him and my mom helping me with the move. Other than that getting employment somewhere before the new year is the only thing on my list.

I'm getting my mom some books and a couple TV box sets of shows she's into. For my dad I'm probably just giving him booze. I'll probably take him out to get a steak somewhere or something too.

I bought my son a bmx for his birthday a few days ago, then it snowed.

The last few days the kids have been playing/teaching themselves the piano every night, kid brought home a ukulele and other kid plays clarinet..it's been great.

They all want piano lessons so I'm getting them piano lessons for Xmas.

Am I lame?

I think I'm lame hahaha

I had piano lessons as a kid. I can read sheet music because of it (poorly).

Just get a good teacher. Not some old lady who trashes them weekly, comparing them with Tracy Sutton. Always falling short of Tracy fucking Sutton.

I hated piano lessons so much it turned me off of playing instruments for 3 years lol

I used to change the notes on the sheet music to sound how I thought it would sound better and the piano teacher would get angry at me.

Not to discourage your getting them into lessons of course.

In fact my daughter is starting organ lessons of all things next week so..

never let your own prejudice interfere with the way your child can develop

Our town has some good music outlets.. not old fuddy duddys, Although there are those as well. I like to feel the people out first.

Pfft like that homeless chick haha

one thing i really wanted but never got to do was actually play music with my parents. my dad played guitar way back in the past but never wanted to jam. now that i live far away he has started to learn again (i think) but we didn't jam when he visited because he thinks he was "not good enough"

i just wanna jam! i don't care if you are banging a spoon on a pot, music should be fun

Been looking for stocking stuffers for my grand daughters 5 & 8.
Bought glow in the dark stars for their bedroom ceiling. Glow in the dark bracelets with LED's and these Octopus things you throw at the wall and they crawl down. but Im at a loss for any new good ideas. My wife has Xmas candy and some charm bracelets. What else do little kids want in their stockings nowadays?

Stocking stuffers
I went to a toystore downtown. I found wooden train whistles and kazoos.

Then I'll stuff them with candy and more knick knacks.. yo yos, cards..art stuff.MakeuUP! For fun.
A movie?
Socks or mits
Doll
Stuff
I always put a Xmas ornament.

Dollar store works too.

I'd like a new knit hat, as I lost my other one.
I need a Rasta sized one to tuck my hairs in to.

I brought my 14 member crew,
at work, breakfast yesterday.

We don't really do much as gifts go.

We take a trip when were able,
near the early part of the year.

Often we get some whiskey spiking the coffee,
and enjoy the morning sharing memories of our life
together so far.

Time for me to make my Buckets of Baileys Irish Cream.
I use eagle Brand condensed milk, Instant coffee and Irish whiskey plus 3% milk. Produces a 2 to 1 ratio at 20 per cent which is slightly stronger than Baileys at 17 %. 2 x 40 oz. for less than the price of one Baileys.
There's lots of different recipes on the interweb. I might add cinnamon this year!
