High School Egg Parenting Experiment

Was this actually an actual thing ever? It was always a thing in TV shows and movies. What high school teen wouldn't have eggs at home to replace a broken one? How hard is it to take an egg home for a week without it breaking? Why would these teens take these eggs everywhere they go? What high school course taught being a parent and why were they teaching this to teens?

Also who didn't get really good at forging signatures in grade 1-12 or am I just a psychopath? These are the questions that keep me up at night.

We had worse, in an adult living class we had these kid sized dolls which had a speaker box and a ring with 4 "cards" that you had to jam in the back of the baby when it would cry. It also had a thing in it that would monitor for "abuse" so if the baby got tossed around like a football it would come up in the final report. Some of the "kids" would mimic babies with cholera, so they would incessantly cry forever even after jamming the cards in over and over. Worst part was that parents were assigned randomly as to show us the "dangers of one night stands". Best part was dragging the thing around to classes full of kids that weren't in the class and listening to them freak out in 0 hour at 7 am when the thing started crying. Another bonus was being set up with a chick that I had been after for at least a year and having an "excuse" to hang with her all the time for a week, which lead to us of course hooking up. So all and all I rate it a Hard 7...

Am I the only one who thinks this is hilarious?

I had an egg to take care of in 7th grade. We had to make a budget and clip ads for diapers and stuff out of grocery store flyers. The teacher had an ink stamp with a little face she put on them so you couldn't swap em for another egg.

I made a tiny little bassinet to keep my egg in. One time at lunch I forgot it on the table in the cafeteria and just walked off and didn't think about it till like an hour later when I saw someone from the same class with her egg, and i was like " oh shit!" But when I went back it was still there. Try that with a real baby

Damn this thread reminds me of the old pick up line we used in high school, "How do you like your eggs, scrambled"?....

I know we did something like that at some point.. I can't remember.

What I do remember is how we sprouted lima beans (p-sure they were lima beans), we each got two, one we would grow properly with good, clean water, and the other, with some liquid of our choosing to see what effects it would have

I chose to feed my odd one coca cola.. and it was a miserable thing

And I realized I was being brainwashed to disrespect life for the sake of some mild curiosity, and to lose the ability to manifest and direct actions of principle, with a clear and purposeful goal in mind.... just like.... ruin a bean sprout.. Jesus
