I just had this pop up on my facebook page: 8 Things You Should Never Do When Adopting A Cat

Never Adopt A Cat Without Isolating It At First

Not only must the new cat cope with a new reality, your existing cats or other pets are adjusting too. “Cats coming into your home bring with them their own germ set, no matter their vaccination or medical status,” Zwemke says. “Cats already living there are protective and possessive of their territory. A 10-14 day isolation period for the new cat lets you observe her and have your vet examine her, and allows existing pets to get used to the idea of a new family member by ‘scenting’ the new cat.” She adds that if new and resident cats are introduced too quickly and a fight breaks out, “It’s difficult, if not impossible, to re-establish a relationship that will be a friendly one.”

Here is the link to the rest of it: 8 Things You Should Never Do When Adopting A Cat | petMD

Yeah I definitely introduced them way too early. Like a few hours after getting him. Declawing had nothing to do with it I'm sure.

Went to look at dogs and cats today and saw him there. He was such a lover boy. Probably 30% of the dogs at the shelter were a terrier pit or staffordshire mix.

Swap the clawless for the bully for a couple weeks.

I bet when the bully comes home he'll be all like... shit I better put up with the clawless one or I'll get put back in the cage

Here is another knowledgeable answer that appeared on my facebook page concerning another declawed cat: "Bruce loves people almost as much as he loves snuggles, scratches, and pets. While he’s not too crazy about other felines (likely due to the fact that he is declawed and has no teeth to defend himself), this ultimate lover of tasty chicken treats is hoping to purr his way into your heart."

Don't know why he doesn't have any teeth, poor guy...
