Dogs dogs dogs

Finally took the leap and got me a two year old blu heeler. She is nuts with energy so I take her to the dog park which brings up my question.

Do y'all register your dog to get a license from your city? Seems like a scam to me. No

They'll fine you if you get caught without one where I live. They make you get a license for cats here also.

wow what a scam.

I wish I could have a dog, if my life were more stable and not going to change I would. Maybe after im employed and have a regular scheduled so it wouldn't suddenly change and stress the dog out.

Take care of your animals people, care about them and learn about them, read books about animal psychology. They're part of your world, but you're their whole world.

Not only do I license my dogs for local identification but I chip them so they can be identified anywhere they may turn up on the continent. One old silly bitch picked up a young dog I owned which dug a hole under my fence. She mistakenly believed it had been abandoned out in the country and took it with her three towns over. When she brought it to her vet he identified it and contacted me. She was well meaning ...but an idiot nonetheless.
If my Dog doesn't like you, I won't like you.

My cat has a chip. Our local animal shelter puts them in all their animals. Great idea.

We have to get a rabies tag, but that's all.
