I just want to grow a few indoor plants and i'm a new grower. Is hydroponics a good idea? I can buy little set ups for 3 or 4 plants and thats all I want but i dont really know anything about it. If anyone knows anything they can tell me that would be awesome or if you know a site w/ hydroponics guys that would be awesome too. Thanks!!

Its soposedly the best way to grow, I never grew hydroponic style, but there are thousands of sites out there explaining it, here is one of them that also has every product you may need;

Personally, I liked growing Hydro. It was my first grow and turned out very well in the end.
However, I made shitloads of mistakes and if it wasn't for Vegasdude, who kind of took me under his wing, I would have never finished. Others helped with losts of my posts too, but Vegas and I kept in contact on my progress almost on a weekly basis. I HIGHLY suggest that you try soil first. You need to see how the plant grows and responds to the enviornment. Hydroponics (initially)is a little more complicated and you can screw up a plant in a matter of days if the system gets out of balance. When everything is right, it is like a Rocket ship. When not it is like a Turtle. Hydroman |
