How soon after flowering has occured does budding start?

flowering and budding is the same thing. depending on the strain and veg times you can see buds before you even start flowering (pre flowers)

okay, you do realize that the 'bud' you are smoking is the flower of the cannibis sativa plant correct? the answer to your question is about 1 or 2 weeks into 12/12 lighting cycle (flowering) you will start seeing hairs form, trichiomes, and the beginning of buds... of course, after you start flowering its going to take a good 6 weeks to 8 weeks to finish properly.....
