COTTON MOUTH???

What is cotton mouth and how do you know you have it...how do you get it?? Any answears back are much appreciated...well,p eace,

when u get cotton mouth, u WILL no what it is. feels like cotton in ur mouth. u will want to drink ANYTHING.

^^^ one time i had just smoked about 3 or 4 dimes of shwag, out of a hooka that held it all. 5 minutes after we smoked, we got kicked out of my friends house we were supposed to sleep over at. i had to walk home in the rain, which i felt like diving a puddle of cause i was so thirsty.

where im from we call it a DROOF, jus when ur mouth gets dry and u need a drink. i think ur describing it a bit harsh, as i aint ever had it that bad, but whatever.

we call it the pasties and i dont know of anyone who smokes weed and doesnt get it. Maybe if you drink a lot before you wont. i'll have to test that.

cotton mouth:

hard to talk, swallow, your mouth gets really dry and you will want to drink anything you can.

man same happened to me, this aprty got busted and I had to walk home with some friends..but this time I did DRINK the ditch water...had no other choice

kottonmouth sucks, especially when you have nothing to drink and it just keeps on getting progressively worse until your mouth is so dry you can't even speak.

Over here we call it desert (as in Sahara, not chocolate!).
I get it much less now than when I first started, we get on ok, as we bring a bottle of water with us anyway to fill up the bong and stuff.

All cotton mouth is is your glands not working because of the weed(this isnt a bad thing but as we can tell its a nusance).

If you just try to work some spit up itll come, you just have to try, obviously water or somthing would work better but sometimes its just not around.

does anyone actually know the scientific rationale for why cotton mouth occurs...i think its probably more than just your glands not working...like why? for example...
