Drying Mushrooms

yea i need sum help drying mushrooms. i kno one method that involves a fruit dehydrator but i dont own a fruit dehydrator. and 1 with a jar and dry ice but i dont know where to get dry ice, wait now that i think about it, the dry ice one is for preserving dried mushrooms. anyway...

get some sort of dessicant from a hardware store. this is usually used to suck the moisture out of closets and small spaces for painting etc. Get some wire mesh, and place it in a bowl over some dessicant so that the dessicant does not come in contact with the mesh. place your shrooms on the mesh, and cover if you want to. The dessicant will pull most of the water out of the shrooms if you just leave it sit for a couple days. Under NO curcumstances should the mushrooms come in contact with the dessicant. it is nasty shit that you do not want to ingest.

Air dry man- That's worked the best for me and the fellas. We just make a box out in the woods where we have been picking. or fun a hair dryer on the shit. Rotate it real nice--- Let nature take it's course. It really doesn't take that long unless your humidity sucks-
