Ive been experimenting with oxycotins for the past few weeks, decided it probably would be safe to stop, but i figure i would just post my experiences with it incase it may help someone, or at least give a little amusement.

anyway up intill a few weeks ago i just thought that oxycotins where just oxycodone, which ive taken before and ill admit it was a very strong painkiller, but it only lasted for two, maybe three hours, but ive been talking with this kid at work and he was going on how it lasted him two days, and i, what any immature dumbass pothead would do, called him a pussy and told him to stick to pot. anyway, that night i researched on erowid and found that it was different, and it was suppose to last up to 12 hours, and of course, a 12 hour high always means count me in. so i went through one of my dealers and got this plain white pill that turned out to be sterophome for all i care, it didnt do shit. So i had to go through the kid at work and i got 5 40mg oxycotins, for 15 bucks a pill (a bit high for my taste, but according to other people it's higher priced everywhere else). I checked the markings with erowids picture of them and they seemed to be identical so i assume they are indeed oxycontins. So I decided to take one pill every week just to space it out a little bit, but that diddnt really last. Anyway, the first day i took two at 7 and had horrible effects, at around 7:40 i really felt it, but a little after that my stomach started to really twitch and then it seemed like it wanted to rip a hole through my back, i assumed this was because i diddnt eat anything that day, so i waited for three more days and took one after i ate two hours before hand, and again it took about 40 minutes before i started to feel any effect, and it was a pretty constant effect (lasted for about a day). My stomach was still a little in knots, but it wasnt too bad, and if i just diddnt focus on it i could forget it. Then not really a full day had passed, about 19 hours, and i had friend over and he said to get rid of the time release capsule ( the thing that evenly dispense the opiate through time ) was to just grind it up and snort it... I wasnt too "keen" with this but I figured i would just split the pill with him so it would only be 20mg (and for some reason that made it right in my head). So we did it and automatically i had this intense high that i think was too much for me and ended up being to dizzy to walk so i just laid in a chair for a few hours, falling in and out of sleep, which was ok with me, my friend seemed to be able to handle it but he was still pretty gone and his high only lasted him for about four hours, mine kinda of trailed for the rest of the day (i dont think i have an opiate tolerance of any kind after this experience), so i was left with one pill that i just took about two hours ago, and it's pretty much have totally kicked in, however i cant really explain it, but i can think a little clearer than i could the last few times (i say this knowing tommorrow i will read this and die of embarrasement regreting my words and seeing i wrote the alphabet 5 times and accused the french of stealing my socks). I have no disire to continue with it's usuage, because it is supposely very addictive, and very expensive (15 bucks a freaking pill!), but if anyone else is curious, and is new to the drug, i would advise you only take one, it will kick in just give it time, try to eat a little bit before (not sure if its neccesary but it worked for me), and wait awhile before snorting it, and try to get a tolerance for it (its a real kick in the head if your new and just snorted it, trust me), and it's supposely is very easy to overdose on one if you grind it up and chew it ( i would think the same for snorting too) so dont be greedy and exceed 80mgs, well hell, dont even exceed 40mg if your new. the goal of alchemy is to turn lead into gold. to take a substance and combine it with another substance that makes it more than it's origenal worth. in this sense, you really need to start making bronze statues of your pharmacist or local chemist, for they have made gods own medicine, morphine, and in contrast, a shiney rock doesnt seem to compete.

oxys are not a 12 hour high. i have taken them on several occasions and it never lasted more then 3 hours. get some real opiates like heroin pussy

actually for one it's advertised that way( the 12 hour high i mean), and two you obvously took oxycodones, not oxycotins, because, IT IS A 12 HOUR HIGH! ill admit its not fall on your ass high after 5 hours, but if you dont still feel it, i can pretty much gaurantee you it was oxycodones.

PS: fuck off you immature herion jack ass. i was just posting this incase someone wants to read about an experience with them, before i started i researched the hell out of it and could only find one recorded experience with oxycotins (there are about 500 over oxycodones) and i thought id help someone out. PerhapsBelligerent, this is a nice post, just ignore dezzy.
I would just like to point out, however, that oxycontin is just a brand name for oxycodone. Perhaps generic oxycodone pills might come in a smaller dosage?
And it is definitley a 12 hour drug if you swallow the pills intact. They have a time-release matrix that slowly dissolves as it works through the intestine, so while oxcodone on its own might not last quite as long, if you don't rail or parachute the pill, it should last quite a while, albeit with a lower leven of effect.

oxycotin is the time release version of oxycodone so there is some difference in it.

you got stomach shit from doing so few OC's? The first time I did it I did 1 oxy-80 and its def a 12 hour high, and i wasn't feeling sick until the morning. After that I would just bump it, usually 40mg, and it would just mess me up. If you like the high from oc's than fuck the time release and bump it

oxys arean't a 12 hour high unless you have no tolerence and eat like a 40 mg whole. Its supposed to stop pain for 12 hours, not getted you fucked up for 12 hours. Heroin is better in some ways, but ocs are still fun.
