Post opiates vs marijuana

just out of curiosity, i have a few questions regarding your own experiences with weed and opiates. i answered all my own questions from my experience.

firstly which high do you prefer?

i used to prefer weed by a long shot but now i find myself prefering the opiate high. i still will take marijuana as a drug over opiates, simply because i can use it everyday as much as i want without any problems.

what kind of high do you get from each?

smoking weed always gives me a mental high, with altered perception and sensation and euphoria. opiates give me a body high, there is no "euphoria" at all, my entire body just feels so good, relaxed, warm and comfortable. i can lie someplace for hours and never get bored.

finallly, if you use/have used opiates recreationally, were/are you addicted? how often do you use them?

i've never been addicted and never used them more than an average of once a month.

thanks to anyone who answers.

I have smoked weed for a long time and used opiates recreationally (oxycodone, smoked opium twice) and although I love the opiate high, I limit myself to only a few times a month at most just to avoid the problems that they bring. With weed I smoke it all the time, but over the summer I'm not smoking daily because I want to lower my tolerence. I just get a minimal buzz from smoking usually unless it's really good stuff.

Weed and opiates is like comparing apples with a big mac. I never met someone that loved both of them that thought weed was better.

cigarettes are to weed as weed is to opiates it aint shit. I would much rather have a OC 40 then a couple bowls of nugz. It might just be me but opiates and weed are the only 2 drugs i love.

Fuck

I like herb and opiates together. They augment each other perfectly. Its not a matter of whichs better its matter of what you can get your hands on.

Try poppin a vike and smokin a joint and youll see what I mean. Complete bliss.

umm, cannabis degrades the effects of opiates, doesn't enhance them. you prolly get a nice placebo high though...

overall id say marijuana is better...opiates are overpriced and i have a very high tollerance like it takes me 80mg of Oxycodone to get off and an oxy 80 is $30-$35 and thats too much to pay for a 3 hour high.

I'd say I definately enjoy thr opiate high better, only because it leaves me more clear headed. I've had withdrawl in the past and let me tell you it isn't fun It was after a period of using oxycodone and hydrocodone everyday for about 3 weeks. Not a big addiction, but enough to cause some mild withdrawl.
