Can someone please tell me what the difference is? I've had pain killers but never muscle relaxers. (i've had valium but that's more of a tranq)
Are the effects the same? |

what are a couple muscle relaxers (pill names)... To tell you the truth I don't know if I ever tried them.
I've tried several pain killers, but I can't seem to be able to think of one muscle relaxer... infact I'm kinda of wondering if there is a difference... is there?

Can't tell you the difference, because I do not know.. But I can say I was prescribed a muscle relaxer for 3 years.. It was called Flexeril.. 10mgs.. good stuff too!! It did just what the name implies. relaxed the hell out of my muscles.. Doesnt so much knock you out like some pain killers can.. great for back spasams, tmj, but not so great for headaches.

My experiences with flexeril are much diff. than jojo I crushed up to flexeril 10mgs and snorted them, (big mistake they were the most painfull thing I have insulfated
) and ate a third I then hit my H2O bong a few times and by the time the pills hit I was so out of it i couldnt hold my head up and just kinda went comatose on my bed till I woke up the next day.I have never gotten sleepy or anything from painkillers, with the exception of oscars they made me sleepy.

If I'm not mistaken, and my own experience faulty, muscle relaxation is one the (desired) effects you get from opioids. Diazepam (valium) is a muscle relaxant, and used as such, although it's mostly used as an anxiolytic. Some of the "-zepam"s (flunitrazepam, lorazepam etc) are supposed to be pure muscle relaxants, without being sedating etc. Valium and Rohypnol (dia- and flunitrazepam) are probably the most useful for "recreational" purposes. Bevare of the addiction potential though.

I guess I didn't really answer your question. Check www. erowid.org for general and spesific info on both opioids and -zepams, though I think they're a little thin on the valiumesqe trip reports.

Lycaeum is much better for specific info about specific drugs, imo.
I disagree with you on the benzo's though-ativan/lorazepam is DEF not purely a physical drug. nuh-uh. I could apply this to most benzo's. somas-yeah. eat like 3. They seem to be mildly hallucinogenic from some experiences i've had with them- looking at people's faces and such-not psychadelic at all tho. If anything visual is produced, it would probably be more along the lines of ambien. def muscle relaxation qualities tho. I dunno', this is just babble, far too much weed has been consumed for an effective discussion on my part. yum. 2 grams fried in buttah and put on toast. delish. what the hell was the point of all this? buh. |

Is it an excuse to collect from disabilities and get pills? or maybe only one of the two. I really feel like being an ass I guess, but I think fibermyalgia might be bullshit.
