Of Dust And The Graven Widow
I’m holding your tears forever, to release this part of me Secluded, I need someone My life is twisting around me, and I can’t breathe The memory haunts, every vision of you, scarred with my fear The compassion I cry And now I’m staring at my reflection But the paleness cannot glow For every tear that falls from you, I bleed And you are stained with emotion, just like me With your sins, you paint the oceans So grey with tragedy Never forgotten, the way you stray unknown Of one rose shared, by two cold hands That will never see what I dream Never feel, what’s been taunting me since I let go Of that last petal, the fallen hope The soil beneath, pulls me in, a void encircles the wind I saw that face through fields of black The silver shade that spoke into her heart The wind blew the other way, cutting into the fog And the rose began to shed the loss Her jaded ghost, of dust and the graven widow |
