Question An udder butter question. Eat the green mess?

I made some bud butter, strained it and ate it. Very nice, though it tastes like crap. The last dreggy bits I froze, figuring that the oils clinging to the actual bud may well be stronger than the main body of the butter. I'm no chemist, but it probably depends upon the volatility of the chemicals and the absorbtion rate of the butter. If the butter absorbs 100% of the active weed components and freely distributes them during the cooking time (about 5 hours in this case)then it'll be the same strength as the rest of the batch. If absorbtion and distribution are less than 100% then there's a chance that this disgusting looking 1 inch lump could be just what I'm looking for.

Anyone ever eat their green mess? Anyone know the chemistry?

i dont know the chemistry, but on general principles i kinda doubt the absorbtion is %100.
but even if it is, i still think the green mess is worth eating, cuz you know its got some goodness in it, and the fibre's good for ya too.

i guess it depends on how you eat it tho.

how did you eat the butter?
by the rivers of babylon,
there we sat down,
yea, we wept,
when we remembered zion.
