has anyone seen the episode where Barney goes sober and in the end flies up the mountain in a helicopter to save bart and lisa from the forest fire.

at some point in the episode, homer is walking down the street and "The End" (Doors) starts playing and homer sings along...

erm, was pretty cool...

yeah..thats weird shit..has anyone seen the episode where homer owes all that money to PBS and they come after him so he has to hide from them and he ends up being like a missionary..anyways theres one part wheres he keeps licking these toads..then he starts to trip..and theres a little radio in the room..and marges voice comes on it and she says "is there anybody out there" but she says it just like the floyd song..

The reason the doors start playing is cuz, the forest is on fire and thats why barney is flying the helecopter, and its a reference to "apocolypse now"(sp?) in the begining where they play that song while they napalm the forest.

Actually, that was one of my favorite Simpsons moments of all time, because it was a combination of so many things I love so much...

The Simpsons (My fav TV show) + The Doors (My 2nd fav band of all time) + Apocolypse Now (One of my fav movies) = Pop Culture Orgasam....

I haven't seen that one but it sounds like the beginning of apocalypse now. there are so many jokes in the simpsons that you have to be pretty well rounded like that to get. there are tons from literature like one flew over the cuckoos nest. then there are the jokes that you only get when you're stoned...

hey, anyone see the episode where Bart has ADD and they make him take "Focusyn" and he gets crazy hooked on it? It was on the other day, and maybe its just because we were blazed, but my friend and I agreed that is was the craziest episode ever. of course, I can't remember much of what happened, except that the medicine made Bart's testicles huge, and they showed these two little bulges coming out of his pants. I don't know, maybe it was the weed. anyone else seen this one?

his balls dont really get that big..there just oranges that he put down his pants..then he tells marge that the medicine made his testicles so big and that he cant fit them in his pants..its funny because after he takes the oranges out marge puts them in his and lisas lunches..

No man, The End was in a different episode. From memory, the "300 perfect bowling game" episode. Homer feels he will never achieve like that again so he goes to kill himself, walking along singing The End. Or sometihng.
