Question how do i care for my mother plant

kosh / sureshot,

ive looked on this forum for answers, but alas...
anyways i much prefer the private tuition...

the three clones i had have been pumping up in my 400w hps grow room 24/0 for a week now, the results are amazing.

Q. what am i looking for when choosing the best clone for mothering duties ?

The chosen mother will be placed in her very own grow room under 2x40w fluros..

Q. what is the best way to care for her ?
i.e height, bushiness, size pot, nutrients. etc

Thanks in advance chaps.

Nothing to add... unsurprisingly!

Might actually add that if you are planning on keeping a mum rather than cloning the previous gen each time it might be wise to leave choosing your perma-mum til after harvest so you get the clone from the best smoke as well as best growing tendancies.

I seem to remember though that all your cuttings are sourced from the same mum originally anyhow, the infamous Mavis. In which case moot point. Ignore me.

Who da man, kosh da man.

An inspiration to us all mang!

ooops ??

It might pay to not vege the eventual mother for too long under the 400hps, because once you put it under the flouro's, even though the light cycle is the same, the intensity of the light will be much less and there is a chance of the plant starting to bud.

Okay Kosh,
your right again man, the mother that was under the 400hps 24/0 and then placed under the fluros has started to produce the pistils, as you said due to the light intensity.

Is everything gonna be okay ?
Will it revert back to vegetative state ?

respect
