I wrote this earlier to a post, but no one read it. I thought it was good to read.

The general people know little about the government.

The press asked general McArther once, "If this government is so flawed, why do we use it" McArther resonded confidently, "Look at the other options, this is the best system in the world."

The definition of government is: The institution through which a society makes and enforces its public policies.

One of the easiest things in the world is to complain. It is typical of americans to complain. I.E. we complain about the government. And it is typical not to vote. But, because it is society who makes laws, we have no one to blame but ourselves. Yes thats right, normal people make the laws; people that vote that is. So unless you vote, you have no place to complain about how bad the government is, because you cant even get up, and spend 15 minutes to vote.

In the latest issue of MAXIM there was a artical on "ending the drug war." Heres some stats.

700,000 pot users are busted every year. Thats one every 45 seconds.

70,000,000 americans have used marijuana.

Percentage of 10th graders in holland who have tried marijuana:28%

Percentage of 10th graders in the US who have tried marijuana:41%

If weed was legalized, our US budget would increase by 35,000,000,000.

Percentage of americans who vote. 38%
Percentage needed to win with 20%. OR in stoners terms, if you want to be persident, you have to convince 1/5 of americans you should be president. Thats california, texas, new york and flordia and you should be it, and you will win.
