Well, if you want to make proper tasty hash you need to get lots of prime skunk, rub the buds together and collect all the crystals and resins that come off them... that'll be your hash.
If you want to make soapbar (don't you dare ), you need to get all your dodgy male plants, stalks and weed plants, mix them up with a lot of alcohol-based solvent and then get them to set. You can also mix in lots of bitumen, old records, ketamin and the odd fallen gangsta for that real ropebar taste. **Disclaimer** I refuse to be responsible for any dogbar made as a result of this post. Smoke skunk dammit!

Hash is the compressed resin off the hemp plant. All the sticky stuff that runs on the leaves and buds you collect in your hand, scrape it off, and exert as much pressure as you can onto it. There's a picture of the process on erowid. But having an resinous plant does not necessarily mean that your resin is high in thc content. I don't know, it's a lot of work for not too much unless you have tons of plants.
