They are allowed to use them for "biz" stuff. Sometimes.

Depends on what group- some are stricter than others.

It's a strictly business one... so they are allowed to do it...

anyways they are very secretive.. if you take a pic of them, they usually want you to show the back of their head or just a profile so they could be "any amish person" it's just they don't feel anyone one member of the society should be recognized over another- promotes a sense of community...

least that's what they've told me. I went to college smack dab in Amish country.
