My mum used to use household vinegar.
Dr. Harry L. Arnold of the American Health Institute suggests mixing 1/4 teaspoon of meat tenderizer with 1 teaspoon of water to make a paste. Smearing this on a bee or wasp sting relieves the pain. I recommend a big

I haven't been stung by anything with wings since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. But we sometimes get these sea-faring things called blue-bottles and OUCH they deliver a real sting. You're in the water, paddling around all fa la la laa and unsuspecting, when ZAP, this little fucker gets you, and you start splashing around, much like you would be doing a little dance if you'd been stung by a bee, but you're in the water. Oh well, at least we're not like those poor aussies who get killed by their jelly-fish.
EDIT: Oh yea..use baking soda for bees and vinegar for wasps ..........Meat tenderiser before the bite... LOL good-one

Veda, sorry to hear, mix you up a non mentholated ciggy with a little bit of water and put that on the sting, put a bandage over it for a few hours, it really takes the sting out.
Clam gardener snakes do not have teeth, but I think it hurt because you were a little kid and you imagined it had teeth, or it was another kind of snake. |
