I'm digging on a lot of primarily instrumental stuff lately - Buckethead, The Meters and Leo Kottke are recurring throughout my playlists (and Colma hasn't left my walkman for days).

i got into a huge instrumental kick over the last few months. i really got into godspeed you black emperor, explosions in the sky, shalabi effect, do make say think, the album leaf, slint, physics, tarantel, etc. of the above, i'd say gybe and explosions are my favorites.

some people think it's too boring; i personally love listening to music without the influence of vocals.

instrumentals remind me of techno but less technoe. I dont know how they got their guitars to sound like that but it was awesome.

I completely forgot about Do Make Say Think. "Minmin" is an awesome song.

Tristeza is great.

American Football and Unwed Sailor for lighter tones.
