I HAD a Pow wow :)

Alright, I did it and I had a better turn out then expected. It worked quite well and I'm glad my friends were mature enough about it to have an amazing experience.

We hiked out to some field through a forest, sat down in the evening and all discussed creation theory/beginning of mankind etc. It was actually very enlightening and really personal, we didn't have any generic like strict religious types (infact I was the most religious one there, cept maybe my few friend).

We talked about things like 6 day creation being, big bang, all kinds of ideas that dont really have names, umm, connections with god etc. I cant remember it all but it was comparable to a excellent spiritual smoke thread. EDIT: Na much better then all threads it was so excellent in real life.

Oh and a pretty good bonding experience too.

Only me and one other guy smoked the bud, there were a few beers, not many. But we came up with some amazing stuff.

Anyways I'm just proud of how it turned out because it was my idea and I organized it, thought it might interest you guys.

Oh and the sunset was uncomparable.

I'm stoned

Cool.
Sounds like you had a good time.
Your experience reminds me of the first time I took mushrooms with my friend who's a complete Atheist and we stayed up all night talking about human evolution, religion, the human mind, and things of that nature. Even though my friend and I are at complete polar opposites with many beliefs we still both benefited a lot from our discussion. The whole trip had a spiritual quality to it, for me, and I learned how if I would just continue what I was doing how things would eventually work out and so far they have in a weird way.

Sounds like a really nice time. I wish I knew more people who were into that sort of thing.

I would love to do this.... Perfect place to host the pow wow.

Sounds awesome! I want to one day arrange something in our circle herb garden. Some sort of basic ritual followed by discussion. There's nothing more healing than this type of communication with others who are at least open. I've attended a couple of discussion groups at a city about 60 miles from here in an "alternative" shop after hours. No type of ritual or anything, just conversation and a demonstration on playing an old Egyptian game that they used to use for divination purposes. I just felt so energized after this meeting.

Congrats on a great turn out!
