Don't you know you're supposed to surf them?

So far the only idea I had was to find some pub or coffee house where they're holding a slam poetry reading, talk to whoever is running the event and line up a spot. Then I'd "off the cuff" one night suggest we go check out the thing. When we get there I'd excuse myself to go to the bathroom and tell her "Watch the next guy, I hear he's good", of course it would be me, and I'd write the proposal into a poem and deliver it slam style.
The ironic part is I know nothing about slam poetry!

Simple smoker I wish I could change my name to simple toker more fitting. Been a mellow stoner for 14 years now with no slowing down in sight except the lack of a hook up.
I enjoy reading the mellow stoner stories and listening to old hippies. Debaser I think your proposal idea is great mabey some yahookans can help you out with the slam poetry.

A mate gave me an old power mac tower (8500) which had a G3 upgrade - its like a VW with a V8 dropped in it.. It runs a little slow but at least I 'm back online from home. Currently saving up for a new mac I got my eyes on. Also being doing a bit of work on my new website medicalcannabis.info.

Born in 81, so i'm not a teenager. I'm immature nonetheless.
I poke my head in when I'm not being immature or talking about dope-growing

aged?
I'm new here but not to the sport, started in 1973, had to stop 2000 due to job testing, now back ( dif job ) but really hard to connect again. Oh, well just dont lose your connections like i did folks. That said, i do ok with the mediocre I get sporadically.
Its so much dif now then when it started, of course it was over many years. My first time was at a Savoy Brown concert in Indianapolis ( at a skating rink ) ZZ Topp played backup! We hitchhiked down there, 60 miles. Everyone was just kinda sitting around in the parking lot tokin up, passing to anyone who would take it. They opened up the doors for the show and everyone just wandered on over there, no hurry. Really comforable time. Fun! We went to a Cheap Trick show in Lafayette about 1979 or so, everyone was hyped up and rowdy at the entrance. They opened the doors and the crowd pushed the doors backwards into the building, squashing us all in front, not good. I had a bunch of J's and shared in the theatre but no one else did and it became a spectacle. Not too long ago I started working where they dont check and thought i would like to get back to something I enjoyed alot, smoke only- nothing else. No selling just relaxing good times. Everyone I got it from before ( had dwindled at the end anyway ) were long gone. Totally from scratch i have had to try bars etc. but not a good time like it used to be. If I ask any younger people they get paranoid and I dont want to do that to them. Thinking about growing,( I used to a little ) but the bag seed i got arent good and I'm concerned about having a well known company mail them to me, not sure what to do for sure. That said I had a lot of good times and made a lot of friends, most went straight. I love the music from back then, the TV shows and everyone was milder. Glad to see a place here where some people with a similar past might be, makes me feel a little less wierd. Thanks RW |
