Like about a week ago i went to a party and me and small circle of friends gathered around and brought out our bongs and preceeded to compare weed and match bowls and someone brung out this little baggy of a red rocky substance and said it was opium. I looked at him and said he was on crack if he honestly believed that was opium cus i used to sell opium myself and it was usually blackish or whiteish. Then he gave me what i thought was bullshit answer that it was "synthetic" opium called red rock and that if you sprinkle a little bit on your weed it would make you float or somthing like that. I figured whatever it isnt my money sprinkle what you want, and so he did and goddamn was he right. So i bought a bag and first tried a little by itself and it didnt do anything, but for some reason when it was sprinkled on weed it really did the trick. I smoked the rest of the bag with about a dime bag of weed and was pretty much high for about 5 hours, and it was a really constant high which i havent experience in almost 7 years! So of course i bought another bag but i figured i didnt really know what i was smoking and that botherd me for some odd reason...synthetic? wtf!?!? so i went over to one of my friends places where he has like a bunch of anaylyst shit and grow room and such to see if he knew what the hell it was, and surprisingly he did. I didnt even have to show him the baggy all i had to say was Red Rock and he immediately said " you mean dragons blood resin on jacked up prices?" and i gave him the bag and he looked it over and then pulled out this huge rock of it from his little collection and it looked exactly like it, smelled like it, and according to him has the same genetic makeup of it. Now i just feel stupid, I'm getting high off of incense? Am i on fucking crack? I havent had enough nerve to try that big rock he gave me yet cus this all seems a little bit eery. I was just wondering if anyone else knows of this little "drug" and if it really is just incense and such, I know erowid supports that theory but then again, it's all just a little bit weird, and it also seems that everyone knew of this "synthetic" opium before me and again thats a little bit odd seeing how im usually the one introducing these things in my little circle.

you were probably just smoking really good weed. and plus if u sold real opium didnt u smoke some of that then too? cant u tell the "red rock" was fake?

well yes i knew it wasnt opium, that was for sure. but it still had a distinct high. and i know it wasnt the weed cus it was the usual shit weed i usually get... but perhaps the placebo thing was right maybe it really was all in my head... but i didnt really trust it to begin with.

iee, not that it matters but i ended up trying that rock and it worked pretty much the same. I dont suggest it cus smoking incense has to be harmful, and i think it just may be some kind of alergic reaction i have or somthing... I dont think ill continue with it's use, it really works but it's all to odd for me.

i heard that the cops sold red insense as opium to catch buyers, and plus i heard dealers just sell the same thing and make a killing with out anyone knowing, and plus my fried said a guy told him to always smoke it with weed, wonder why?
