Post Isomerization

I have several times tried to extract oil from leafs. With 96%ethanol, with acetone and with butan gaz .. When extracting with acetone or ethanol, the extract turned dark green. when extracting with butan, the color is more yellow/brown. (honney oil) Problem is that it's not very strong when using just leafs to begin with.

So I have been experimenting a little with isomerization.(recep ies that I've found on yahooka and elsewhere)

--- when I tried the isomerization I used Acetone as solvent !!!

When acidifying the extract with sulfuric acid and letting it boil gently for about 2 hours, and then neutralize whit sodium bicarbonate, it should turn the lesser cannabinoids into thc...
It didn't get any stronger at all, So I wonder, did I use enough acid or is the acetone "base" so that it neutralizes the acid so no isomerization could take place, or is the whole theorie of isomerization just a delire???

If someone has experimented whit thc extraction and isomerization, or if there is someone that has tried the buble bags or other ways of geting the good stuff out of week plant matter, LOOS'N THE WORDS!!!

Be careful here mate, from my understanding of organic chemistry you could easily end up producing something *very* nasty without knowing about it.

Its too easy to produce a rective (aka toxic) organic compound - say an Alkyne (eg. hydrogen cyanide).

Im not exactly sure what your trying to achieve here, your method sounds plausible but a bit dangerous nonetheless.

Peace. Nobody flame if im wrong here, but I felt it might be a good idea to point it out in case im right. Whats wrong with simply drying?

HCN isn't an alkyne.

Red face

Anybody!!!!!!!

Does Isomerization of canabidiol into thc really work??? It's been a few weeks since I posted, but nobody seems to know much about the subject.
