The worlds highest THC content

I've heard the following:
1) G-13 is 28% THC?

2) Matanuska Valley Bud in Alaska at 36-39% THC reported depending on source.

3) White Russian was gauged at 22% THC.

G-13 can no longer be found in F-1 so that pretty much leaves White Russian as the king unless the mid to high 30's is believable for the Alaskan strains.

Unless........ maybe there is some crazy mad scientist under a pool in Southern Cali growing lizard weed?

If anyone knows of reputable information on extremely high THC content plants and what their names are, please post.

So is the THC content of ATF in the mid to high 30's and has anyone taken a legit sample of this? If so, where can it be found? I'd like to get some seeds.

Also, where can G-13 THC content samples be found on the web?

Matanuska Valley Thunderfuck is supposed to be higher than just Alaskan Thunderfuck, probably around 40-41%.

But I've heard stories of wildcat strains being slightly above 50% content. That'd be crazy weed.

Anywhere where the ATF or MVTF THC content has been accurately tested and posted on the web?

And yes, if wildcat strains were tested above 50%, it would be an amazing high! I want some! Talk about "a little dab 'll do ya"!!

Is "Matanuska Tundra" the same as "Matanuska Valley Thunderfuck"?

Lookie...

A word about the Matanuska Valley in Alaska...

You could grow amazing plants in the Matanuska Valley with fucking bag seeds. It's not so much the strain that they grow there as the conditions which allow the plants to thrive.

In the summer months, there is sunlight for 18 hours+ for nearly three months. The Valley has extremely rich volcanic soil, and it is geographically situated so that the natural features of the land create a thermal inversion of sorts in the summer. It creates its own weather, if you will, and it is perfect for growing EVERYTHING.

I saw a show on Discovery or Learning Channel about two brothers who live in the Matanuska Valley and they grow world-record cabbages. Every year at some fair, they break each other's records with 8 and 900 POUND cabbages. They both claim that they use the same seeds and that those seeds yielded two and three pound cabbages when they lived in California.

They keep their fertilizers secret, but one guy commented on the smell of the cabbage patch being a bit strong... so I would guess they use natural ferts like manure and fish.

Thanks for that info GWB.

I guess that would mean that what is 41% THC at home, wouldn't remain the same potentcy anywhere else in the world.

I would guess that you could still be able to preserve more than 30% THC if you had F1 seeds and knew a pro grower.

Those seeds are pretty expensive

sagarmathas matanuska tundra(mainly indica) is not related to thunderfuck(mainly sativa)..i've grown tundra and was not that impressed..btw sagar. is reputed to have ripped off one of their strains from a cannabis cup winner (their blueberry is not authorized by dj short) and as breeders they're supposed to be second rate

trichome technologies G-13 is rated at 27.2% thc(supposedly one of the highest)

Thanks kiWikkid

Is Thunderfuck available from any seed company? And is it the one that reportedly had 41% THC?

I'm not too familiar with breeder politics so I'll stay away from that. Interesting stuff though.

kiWikkid 12-07-2002 02:13 PM

THBee, do you remember where you saw this 40+% rating, i still find this hard to believe

the brothers grimm are the only ones i'm aware of doing matanuska thunder
http ://www.hempqc.com/en-us/dept_13.html

huh..just read that marijuana was legal in alaska until 1990

Hooked 12-07-2002 02:35 PM

The number was from me, Kiwikid. I think I saw someone say that on Overgrow awile ago. He had whatever it is you use to test THC% and said his crop had a 40% count. That's what I based it off.

Now, I've got a copy of Overgrow's old strain base and it listed Matanuska Valley Thunderfuck as a mostly Indica hybrid. I've smoked a little just plain Alaskan Thunderfuck(so it was said) and it had a very noticeable Indica high. So I don't know what other strain(had to be an indica) was crossed with the Thunderfuck. Who the hell knows anymore...

kiWikkid 12-07-2002 02:59 PM

yeah it does get confusing with everyone wanting their two cents worth..i just regurgitate what i've read and i quote from jason kings "cannabible" about alaskan matanuska thunderfuck
the flavor is excuisite..like red grapes..the effect takes awhile to fully manifest but the end result is a beautifully clear and euphoric high that lasts for over four hours. very conversational this herb reminded me of why i prefer sativas over indicas
he talks about the history of breeding with apparent knowledge so i'm gonna go with him on this one..it seems plausible that thunderfuck is a pure sativa that the locals have guarded closely..thunder was possibly bred from an aquired clone/seed of thunderfuck and then tundra was possibly hybridized from thunder..?!?

thanx thbee, those were pictures probably taken in alaska, i recognize the scenery. i am from kodiak island, alaska, and i buy thunderfuck all the time. yes it's fucking dank herb, it can cost up to $100 for 1/8 ounce. it's funny to come on here and see everyone talking about the "legendary" thunderfuck, it's dank but i have bought some classy shit in colorado almost as dank as thunderfuck. it is certainly the one-hit wonder, if anyone is wondering.

12-07-2002 04:39 PM

has anyone else here actually smoked dank before?

Oh yeah, a former boss used to have me run him to the city once a week. He knew this hippy dude that grew and when he got back to the car, I could smell the weed from the driver seat which was rolled up in his pocket near the passenger door.

Don't know what strain it was but this stuff looked like it was rolled in clear Karo syrup! I smoked 1 hit of this stuff and I was wrecked for 8, yes eight, hours! All I could do is doodle on a pad and drool :D

I'm gonna try to get some Tundra seeds since real Thunderfuck seeds can't be found on the web.

The fact that Tundra is a pure Indica appeals to me as they are nice and short when finished.

kiWikkid 12-07-2002 05:15 PM

so THBee ^^^ is that thunderfuck, cause it looks alot like the tundra i was growing( the way it went really autumnal in colors suggesting to me it might have something like early pearl in its genes)
anyway looking at this high temps and light hours chart i find it hard to believe they can grow outdoors
http://www.alaskavisit.com/library/temperaturechart.gif

12-07-2002 05:33 PM

I believe it is Tundra which is the closest "bank" seed to Thunder as far as I can tell. The pics are from overgrow.com

June, July and August outside would do the trick if you vegged inside. It's almost 70 degrees for 3 months straight and for 18 Hr's per day at that.

GWB is correct, they have incredible farms in the valley. I've heard the Blueberrys are almost the size of golf balls up there.

Supposedly, THIS is the REAL deal.
