Cheap-Ass Timer and Gardening by Braille
somehow my cheap-ass light timer has gotten behind so the sun came up 4 hours late this morning, i suspect its been a gradual slippage over the course of the week but it messed me up today
gardening the vedaponic way, i dont go into the gro room every day, just once a week to top off the resevoir. my normal day is sunday, but i didnt go yesterday cuz there were people and action and stuff goin on, and its not like the water level ever gets dangerously low or salt build-up or anything except when i went today, as soon as i got the first door open a half a crack i could see there was no light and thought i was early, so i closed that door and decided to wait a while. i waited and waited and when i finally went in i could hear the pump sucking air. so in pitch black with minimal fumbling i got the res filled up and i felt around everywhere to make sure that no leaks had developed. i couldnt find any. my cheap ass timer is the kind with 24 pins on a dial either on/off, and i could easily tell it was 4 hours late. so i guess the moral of the story is that you get what you pay for, or maybe its that errors and accidents and failures can happen so be prepared for them anyway, i have missing time and missing water, and where those hours and gallons went is a total mystery to me and no, im not growing time warp |

I've had a number of timers fail too, its a conspiracy I tell ya.
And say, I thought you were a simple organic soil grower, didn't realise its all hi-tech hydro stuff, I thought you needed to be more "hands on" than weekly? To be honest I'm getting tired of having to water every 1-2 days.
