fashion training starts at a very early age
when youre first learning to talk, one of the things moms and childrens spend an awful lot of time talking about is their clothes. especially if you are changing their clothes several times a day due to mud puddles and spagetti and whatever.
and all this time mom is telling you from the very beginning of your life, you look good in this, you look good in a hat, do you want to wear this one or that one
and on and on through childhood untill you fall into the whole habitual way of fashion thinking.

its a hard cycle to break. i dont know if youve been shopping for childrens clothes lately, but its just shocking how fashion-tastic kids clothes are. i mean c'mon, why are there low-cut velvet bell bottom pants in pre-school sizes?

Fashion isn't about paying a shitload for clothes. When you pay that much you are paying for fashion, you don't have to have fashion sense with that much money. Fashion is being able to look your best for the least amount of money. At least that's what it should be. If it's not then why are ugly ass clothes being sold for hundreds of dollars? Hint, they aren't. People are just ugly, and they don't buy for their face and body type. Because it's not about money it's about looking good.
