I stabbed through my finger once...luckily I missed the nail and bone. I hit right on the side of the nail and it went through.

Wasn't that bad though...I mean it went through all the way but I just wore a band aid for a few weeks

owchers. last night i got glass in the heel of my foot somehow and it hurts like a biatch. Once I slammed my finger in the door and it turned black so I thought it was gonna fall off so i took a needle and heated it up red hot and poked in through my fingernail and it hurt soooo bad.

Why? Why would you do that?

What was the logic behind sticking a red hot needle through your fingernail and into your finger?

That sort of makes me grimance thinking about it...

exactly. It let all the blood out and therefore saved my fingernail from falling off. I thought it sounded absurd too when my neighbor told me that's what to do, but it was relieving once all the blood was drained and the pressure was off.

I stepped on a little piece of glass at the lake once, and it was such a tiny shard that I couldn't get it out of my heel. The skin healed over it and I kept walking on it, pushing it deeper until it was bothering me so much that I had to go to the doctor. He had to numb the area and dig for it. My heel was sore for weeks. Marinol made me think of that, kinda off subject....

Anyway Veda, I hope you fingy gets to feeling better babe. Makes you realize how much you miss those little guys when one of them is closed for business, huh?

yea! that's exactly whats goin on here. I don't know how the glass got in there but I was trying to dig it out with a needle and its really deep in there and I can't even hardly walk on it. Now I'm freaked out.

Yeah that's what happened to me, I couldn't get it out so I had myself convinced it was already gone, but the sharp pains told me differently. You might have to make a visit to the doc, sweetie.
