Canadians are usually belly-achin about the USA being sneaky, which the DEA is, but the RCMP sure learns quickly.

The arm of the DEA is far reaching even into canada, why do you think marc emery is being extradited?, he was merily going about business in canada for years until the U.S. charged him with fraud and money laundering.

Just once I'd like to hear a Canadian NOT blame the USA for every drug arrest.
Seems to me the Canadian authorities aren't much better.

What are you talking about man I love to hear about how we Americans are letting the world slip away by voting for Bush and supporting his every move.

Thats what we do.

Lets keep this on topic and save me the work of deleting posts.

I don't think a blanket blaming of Canadians or Americans is the way to go.
The R-C-M-P and the D-E-A are both sneaky bastards.
Bush is a criminal as is Martin, they have lied, stolen and turned the laws to
suit thier own agendas.

I just hope RC and his family are safe.
This really sucks, heaps of ppl are crapping themselves over this issue.
Many posted grow diaries on there without going to appropriate measures to mask themselves at all, so I think f.nun's idea on a proxy 101 is a goodun, as while Budhead is right that the right person could track almost any internet user in a few minutes, the average leo may not go any further than a proxy server.
Overgrow was a great way for thousands to keep in touch, the loss of those contacts alone will damage this community through restriction of information, and seed swaps etc.
Everyone should have a think about personal security, and do what they feel is warranted.
Last time big boards went down they left all the little fish alone, and most of the big fish went ignored too, so I hope ppl dont get too paranoid.
Peace to all.

If anything they went after RC for his seed businesses, not his forums.
I think unless you are growing HUGE they aren't going to bother with the little guys.

The strainbase and the FAQ are the things I will miss the most.

If it does turn out to be just about shutting down the servers, rather than a grow...you can be assured the DEA is behind it, and like days past...you know, book burning, hell...wire tapping without warrants...WOMD....G uantonomo....Kidnapp ing in foreign countries to export for torture...fuck em
And after all that, you still believe the official 9/11 conspiracy theory?

This makes me want to cry.

Has anyone set up a defense fund for RC and his wife? I know the OG OGs had funds going for members who got busted, but I have no idea how to contribute.

They have been discussing it, but until the details are known nothng can be started.
There is still no concrete evidence of anything yet

I hope someone saved all the strain base info and the grow reports.

It will be a shame to lose all that gold.

There are a fair amount of people who saved the FAQ.
I'll try to get a copy.

I've started a fundraiser on my site for ~RC~. There's a Sticky Thread in FFA about it.

This whole thing really sucks. The governments of North America may pay lip service to free speech, but this is what actually happens when people practice it. I don't know about any of you, but I'm not just going to let it happen.

Prohibition did not begin with Canada.

Prohibition began and was exported globally by the united states.

All cannabis arrests world wide are down to amerikkka.

This shit isn't going to change until we are prepared to fight back, bloody and violent rebellion required.

yep. like i said a couple months ago its going to get worse before it gets better. now even canada, land of the pot smoking lumberjacks, has their own "bush" in office and is experiencing the same bullshit we have gotten in the states the last 20 years.

heres to the future!

The long reaching arm of the DEA started the shutting down of seed banks, I wonder if RC will be facing charges in the states like emery if his arrest is true?
