did a bit of research on the two strains, sounds like, and from the pics, looks like it's going to be quite bomb.

Lifes been good, thanks buddy

funny thing happened to me...
Our source for bat guano dried up so we were forced to try something different for flower.
Bought some Bio-Bloom having heard so many glowing reports about it. When it came I read the ingredients first thing, Kelp and Molasses are all that's listed.
Probably wasn't too tough for them to get it OMRI listed hey?

I'm at the point where G-13 is just a nickname, like a lot of others.
Unless someone can offer definitive proof it is the Holy G then it's just a nick.

Pacifics version is excellent smoke, and mated to the Black Widow

Quote:
The legendary Black Widow. A most infamous strain that since 1994 has won a number of awards including the High Times Cannabis Cup in 1995, and has acquired acclaim from most corners of the globe - rightly so. It has a pedigree of parentage that combines a Brazilian Sativa with a South Indian hybrid. Basically, it is White Widow changing its colors like its company. It will seem evident to the cultivator that this species needs slightly more attention to achieve the expected results. Do not forget the necessary love and attention in order to get the best results. This is the original true blue champion that began a whole new wave of breeds before it consumed its partners.
it should be awesome.

I agree that there are many "G-13" strains and crosses out there. I was able to get a couple real deal G-13 crosses, the breeder used the Airborne clone. I haven't been able to grow either out yet, but I'll get to them sooner or later.

holy bajeebus Dan,I'm workin' with some pg-13XBW I got from a friend awhile back and its amazing smoke bro'.very high high.like rollercoaster high.we just started smokin' it earlier this week and were having to watch our intake because the rush is so hard hitting it seems to want to cause panic.very good for immediate pain relief but watch out on the dosage.don't be afraid to use moderation once you .oh yeah,I'm a molasses baby also, but molasses are only part of the solution.I'm using advanced nutrients tarantula microbes and they're feeding off of the carbs in the molasses. it causes heinous root systems which in turn relate to rockhard buds the likes of which I've never had consistently in 30 years of growing.oh yeah,I've been practicing while I was away.who says old dogs can't learn.the info's always been there, its just taken a long long time to put things together properly

I love the Tarantula and I also use Pirahna. Expensive nutes, but well worth the cost. You gotta love those cable sized roots.

I love productive weed. Day time smokes are a bit of a rarity for me.

Nice yielders too by the look of em. 1 gallon pot and the buds are coming nicely. I'll take a pic in a bit and post it up.
They are starting to show thier lack of N nicely, should be a couple weeks yet though... maybe 3.

Well, here we be.

Why are you only using one gallon pots? I noticed you also used them with Viet Black. Flowers are looking great though. What was the stretch like? What's the odor like?

The odor is up there on these. I was trying to figure out the smell last night, some citrus definitely, but also some piney-ness as well.
The 1 gallon pots were my own laziness in this case actually, I was going to place them into 2 gallons. By the time I had decided to go ahead they were doing fantastic in the small pot.
The stretch on the PG13 x BW isn't too bad at all really, even from seed they never more than doubled in height.

The VB was tiny when placed into flower and I have had good luck with small pots and Sativa.

Seedling/Cutting:
No nutes
Veg:

10 / 10

Vigour of vegetative Growth: (describe and marks out of 10)

Very nice vegitative growth.
8 / 10

Vigour of flowering growth: (describe and marks out of 10)

Beuatiful plant in flower with nice frost.
{{INSERT MARK}} / 10

Yield: (Amount per plant and marks out of 10)
We don't weigh results, but these were excellent yielders.
8 / 10

Ease of growth: (describe and marks out of 10)
No problems or issues with growing this plant. A generic feed schedule seems to work just fine.
8 / 10

Dried Bud:

Appearance / Bag Appeal: (Consider the trichome coverage, the quality of manicure, the colour, the density, the amount of bud against stem/leaf etc, describe and marks out of 10)

Like I stated above, nice and frosty, good smell (very aromatic) and very sticky.
8 / 10

Smell: (Consider the odour on opening the bag, on crumbling and whilst smoking, describe and marks out of 10)

Citrusy-piney. The smell is strong, but the tones are light. Hope that makes sense?
8 / 10

Taste: (Consider the smoking flavour, describe and marks out of 10)
Very spicy with floral undertones.
8 / 10

Head High Quality: (What does it do to you as regards cerebral activity, describe and marks out of 10)

It is definitely a little bit in the head. A slight loss of Peripheral vision and it takes a slight beat for your brain to catch up with your eyes sometimes.
6 / 10

Head High Duration: (How long were you thinking, describe and marks out of 10)

Duration of about 3 hours, depending on amount smoked.
8 / 10

Body High Quality: (Body stone, effects on muscles, joints, couch lock etc, describe and marks out of 10)

Nice bit of stone on this one, relaxing for sure. Might be too relaxing for people with something to get done. (in higher iquantities)
8 / 10

Body High Duration: (How long were you warm and fuzzy, describe and marks out of 10)

2-3 hours solid, tapering off slowly.
8 / 10

Overall this one is in the category of "happy to have grown her, happier yet to have a clone... I hope?"

tasted a first run from dwc just recently, several more cuttings coming along in dirt and more buckets now, at about 4 weeks.

looks quite familiar, and extremely healthy

cheers & great to see you mate, just returning here myself & has certainly been nice to be away from the wired madness for a bit.
