Mutation?

Ive got this very strange (and unhealty) looking plant. It was bagseed I sprouted not too long ago. Should I just let it grow, or what? Included are pics of the bud it came from.

i dont understand. it seems to be picking up steam developing new growth now, but for the first 2 weeks it looked pretty sickly. the bud was great hence why i saved the seeds.

Why not? Some sporting features might be expected from the first few leaf sets.

Might be offspring of a herm though.

On the other hand that increases the chance of it being a girl .

That would explain my nearly 75% female rate, I've used hermie seeds like 80% of the time.

I'd say go for it... will be a better judge of that in about 9-10 weeks time, but my 4 little ladies where heavily mutated at birth!

They took a while to get going, but that was mostly down to my lack of effort for a while... now they are boosting good and are perfectly normal plants... after the 2nd or 3rd leafset the tend to revert back to normal healthy growth from what I can see.

the deformity appears to be from the primary leaves sticking to the inside of the seed husk while developing/opening and this will correct itself .

however.

I've also had similar deformity on older plants from nutrient deficiencies.

what are they being fed?
the light is a fluro? it's how far away from the plant?
and lastly, what's the soil recipe?

the soil is 70/30 organic mix and perlite. the light is a 400w hps about 25in from the plants. they are getting fed 7-9-5 at half strength directed on the bottle twice a week, and 2 plain waters a week. its starting to look better i think, but on the new set, oneside has 4 leaves, one non-serated.

hmmm, ive had a few or more than a few plants with twisted weird leaves and none of them ever came out as good or great plants with regard to pheno / yield considerations

thats deff not from sticking to the seed shell because those arent cotyledons and secondly it likely isnt (environmental) deficiency cuz they should have everything they need at that stage.
might as well keep going since theyve come this far, im just sayin that from my exprience, dont expect greatness from plants that dont start with greatness

They probably don't need feeding yet, there should still be plenty in the soil.
