Tried a different method of making kief hash...Success! (pictures)
1st method:
1.) Collect resin using a 4 piece grinder with a screen. 2.) Wrap a good amount of the resin in cellophane (cigarette package) and tape it using tape. 3.) Wrap that in printer paper and tape it again. 4.) Impregnate the printer paper with water and put it on a plate. 5.) Cook it in a 320 degree oven for 9 minutes. 6.) Using a rolling pin, use all you weight to flatten the package for a few minutes. 7.) Repeat for more dense hash. Put it in the fridge for 20 minutes and let it rest for five minutes before cutting out. 8.) Cut it out and enjoy. Product: ![]() 2nd Method (proffered): 1.) Wrap the kief in cellophane or plastic wrap as before, and tape it. 2.) Wrap that in a few layers of news print and tape it. 3.) Heat oven to 200 degrees F. 4.) Soak packet with cold water. 5.) Put the packet, on a sheet rack, in the oven for 3 minutes, then flip the packet it over and put it in for another 3 minutes. 6.) Take it out and, using a rolling pin, roll the packet out for 1-2 minutes. 7.) Soak again in cold water, and put it back in the oven, this time at 5 minutes a side. 8.) Take it out and then roll it for 4-5 minutes alternating sides. 9.) Cut out and enjoy! Product: ![]()

i have a question...
why does no one seem to care about heating plastic up against/in/around the stuff theyre gonna consume. that shit does release nastiness. like you just took some good healthy keif (maybe..) and made it more cancerous than before. word, nice hash bro

One of the reasons to cook it and press it is to make it easier to smoke, or at least thats one of the reasons why I do it. I just like crumbling some onto a bowl of shake to make it burn longer, it usually works pretty well. It also makes it easier to handle and weigh if you are dealing.

@ mikey:
it's easier to smoke than powder. also, kief can be pretty harsh, and pressing it into hash helps mellow the taste. and if you use heat, it decarboxylates the thc. edit: oh yeah, loving the kief/hash pics in both threads, dude.

In my opinion bubble bags are the easiest way to make hash but you could always try rubbing you sucker buds on a 110 line silk screen to make traditional hash........ricklbert
