Talking PRIMO GENETICS - LOG - Personal database of top strains

The purpose of this thread is stated in my post below.

TOP 4: < main >
{Sativa headstasher} Super Lemon Haze - my sativa headstash.
{Indica headstasher} La Confidential - for pain relief & insomnia. my indica headstash. (or maybe Rock Bud, but probably not because the LACon seems to make the connoisseur community jizz)
{High yielder} Black Domina - wanted because it's a dominant indica for a sea of green. (Ed Rosenthal Super Bud and Sensi Star are also options)
{Early finisher} Atomic NL possibly Burmese, Atomic Jam (Atomic NL x Blueberry), or RGD (NL x Haze) - wanted for the early finish. I list a few because I dont want to sacrifice quality.
Wishlist: < strains that i want for a good mother of it to keep around >
Blackberry or Black Jack
Rx (Romulan x F.I.)
White Widow but probably White Rhino instead+
Trainwreck
Early Wonder Skunk (to try some autoflowering )
And something for outdoor..

Classics: < strains I don't necessarily need but want to document so if I breed in the future I know the cornerstones of today's primo cannibis strains >
Acapulco gold · BC Bud · Panama Red · G-13 · Kush · Nederwiet · Northern Lights · Purple Haze · White Widow · Kine Bud · Blueberry Yum Yum · Black Ranger · Sour Diesel

My tops so far are Super Lemon Haze and LA Confidential.

This thread is really about the best of the best so lets start with a video that shows a few classic strains from the well known seed companies that created them.

http://www.youtube.com/user/Hollywee.../1/mcjd239uFEo

Most noteworty of these seed companies is Green House Seeds, ran by a man named Arjen who in the 70's - 80's traveled the world to find the best existing strains and bread them into the sensational strains we have today. His strains have been winning 1st prize in the HT Cannabis Cup for decades. If you want the best and dont know where to start i'd say start with Green House.

< room for future headlining deets n' pix >

yeah the SLH is Green House Seeds and the LACON is DNA Genetics Seeds.

my source for these would be [URL="http://www.vancouverseedban k.ca/"]http://www.vancouverseedban k.ca/[URL] which i would have to take a 3 hour drive to, longer if there is traffic at the border... irrelevant though, because i cant drive for a month and wont have insurance for the next. i'm stuck for 2-3 months

i cannot afford to order these online... i am oh so poor atm. i have 1 friend but he didn't have either of these.

unless i can find someone with seeds or perhaps clones it could be several months before i see SLH, LACON, and Trainwreck in my garden.

I didn't mention Trainwreck but it is a part of my top 3 because it is mostly indica, good for seas of green and it has a great, potent smoke.

Depending on who you believe, a lot of genetics used for the famous Greenhouse strains of the late 90's were Neville's via Shantibaba and Shanti took them with him when he left.

I believe shantibaba and nevil on that one.
It's what happened. Now you can buy from greenhouse and the sativas are more indica

If you want the real deal just go to shanti's forum and order them through him.
Probably the same price or less and the real deal.
Wish I had some cash. I's get some SSH, NH and Ortega.

I am a seed addict *sigh*

I tried smoking the SSH and it is what it's cracked up to be.

I'd love to grow Nev's haze.

Mr Nice is flogging the real beans I believe.

"Mr Nice" aka Howard Marks was the premier weed smuggler into the UK in the eighties.
He is now the front man for Shantibaba who was the actual breeder behind the famous strains white widow, SSH, el nino, great white shark, white rhino etc etc that made Greenhouse famous in the nineties.

SWT#3, SSH, DeepChunk, Choc Thai, I'd like those.
Too much breeding was done with Skunk#1 imo
I like to see other branches of the stem flourish.

I grew the skunk #1 and found it to be fairly mild smoke compared to what we usually run.
Deep chunk seems to be way better in crosses due to the long time inbreeding. Heavy lack of vigour.
Would I still grow it? yep.
Seedbay usually has them on cheap during their weekend specials
