growing weed for a Utopian society

Hey guys. I've never grown pot before (can't even find a connection at USM) but my dad's building a sophisticated greenhouse in an isolated area for "when the shit goes down" (for vegtables and herbs, etc.) and he said he didn't mind me growing some weed too. But there are so many strains, I don't know shit about whats good, in fact I wonder if anyone really does considering how you like to just smoke your favorite. But I was just wondering if anyone knew a plant that was particularly suited to a serious growhouse experience. I'm willing to read books too, but again I've never done this before. grateful for the attention, enjoy your smoke.

Depends on the seasons, what latitude you are at. If you heat your greenhouse you can grow crazy tropical sativas.

What are your requirements?
